Available 3/28/08Volume III contains 5 Preparatory Tests (IN PAPER FORMAT). Each test
contains Essay and Computational based questions and solutions from sub sections of the CAS exam 8
syllabus readings. There are approximately 200 challenging questions and solutions drawn
primarily from the two main texts Investments (2008)
by Bodie, Kane, and Marcus
and Options, Futures and Other Derivatives (2006) by Hull. The
tests include questions and solutions from many of the remaining articles as well.
ALL questions in these tests are aligned with the current learning
objectives and knowledge statements and thus comprise a comprehensive set of exam questions
to prepare oneself. In addition, exposure to these
questions and solutions provide candidates with a good indication of where
their strengths and weakness lie, weeks before the CAS Part 8 Spring Exam. |
