your study process. Cards will be available for printing by section within article, and
provide flexible methods for printing cards for an article in total. In light of the CAS'
penchant for asking essay based questions on recent exams, candidates will find that our
online printable notecard system is a key preparation tool for preparing them to answer
essay based questions likely to appear on the Fall 2010 exams.
Almost all candidates recognize the importance of preparing notecards as an essential task
toward effective exam preparation. Note taking is a time-tested method to efficiently
summarizing key concepts. Getting into the habit of creating notecards for essay based
content is crucial as essay based questions now represent a significant percentage of the
points tested on CAS Exams 6 and 9 (over 35% of the points tested will be essay questions).
Having access to prepopulated
notecards significantly reduces the amount of time candidates have to devote to accomplishing
this task. Even better, the content of these note cards are tied specifically to a CAS
learning objective and knowledge statement.
Preparing self created notecards,
given a thoroughly constructed template for you to use, allows candidates to put down, in
their own words, responses to likely CAS essay based questions.
Our blank notecard template
printing system is set up to print notecards on 3" by 5" Avery notecards or simply on a sheet
of paper. The template contains Author, Article, Year Reading was added to the syllabus,
Article Name, an area for you to complete the notecard, and an area for you to assign a CAS
learning objective and knowledge statement to your notecard.
Printing out our learning
objective and knowledge statement oriented blank note cards greatly assists candidates with a
way to confidently write responses to essay based questions that will appear on the exam.
