Ultimate Study Program
Our Independently Authored Preparatory Tests are included in the Ultimate Study Program only.
Available 04/09/2010
Our Independently Authored Preparatory Tests (In Paper Format) comprise:
- One set of three MC exams (over 60 modified past CAS MC and
computational questions).
- One set of five exams with over 125 challenging questions and
solutions (including questions and solutions to the new syllabus readings).
This set of 5 exams contains computational and essay based questions and the
recommended time to complete each exams is 2.5 hours.
Given the question types, and the time to complete them, one can conclude that these are a robust set of exams.
CAS examiners develop questions that are aligned as closely as
possible to the guidance given in the CAS Learning Objectives and Knowledge
Statements. Therefore, we've aligned the questions appearing in these independently
authored exams with the CAS Learning Objectives and
Knowledge Statements.
Each test contains questions and solutions from sub sections of the CAS exam
5 syllabus readings.
These tests contain a superior set of exam questions. Exposure to these
questions and solutions provide candidates with a good indication of where
their strengths and weakness lie, weeks before the Spring 2010 CAS Exams.

The
Benefits of using our Study Program
This study program provides candidates with an
integrated set of tools necessary to achieve a passing score. It
provides candidates with access to our Independently Authored Online
Preparatory Tests.
The aforementioned is comprised of a superior set
of exam questions. The results from these exams provide candidates
with a good indication of where their strengths and weakness lie, weeks
before the Spring 2010 CAS Exams.
Passing is a function of numerous factors, and begins with effective exam
preparation.
Effective exam preparation requires that candidates have a
plan which addresses the following areas over a course of 3 - 4 months:
1. Have timely access to quality study materials. Since this
will be the primary source you reference over a period of 3-4 months, make
sure that the materials you choose are comprehensive.
2. Monitor study time at the both the aggregate and syllabus
reading levels. Although determining how many total hours to spend
studying is important, it is more important for candidates to gage how many
hours they spend studying per article. Candidates need to maximize their
benefit per hour of time spent studying each reading.
3. Have access to a Study Guide that TIES together key content in
the syllabus readings, study manuals, the CAS Learning Objectives and Knowledge Statements,
and past CAS exam questions.
4. Have access to a testing facility to determine how well you will
perform under timed conditions 3 - 4 weeks before the exam.
