Many candidates strategize in May/June/July as to how they will best
prepare for the Fall CAS exams.
Unfortunately, best laid plains often fail due to competing elements for ones time, a lack of consistent self discipline, and a myriad of paths one can go down when getting absorbed into the complexities of many of the syllabus readings
Our strategy is simple. Provide candidates with study aids/materials that supplement, streamline, and motivate you to stay on course during a 3-4 month period. Specifically, Candidates have access to the following:
Our Online Modules
- A copy of our comprehensive Actuarial Study Notes, and then with online access to our:
- Online Article by Article Study Guide and Study Time Manager
- Revamped Online Pre-populated Notecards and Blank Notecards
(200-300)
- Article Formula Sheets (Updated for 2010)
(Hundreds; Significantly more than the Notecards you can
print out)
- Online Time & Question Management Module, which gives you a dashboard for managing how well you are progressing time wise and how well you are mastering past CAS questions.
- Online Progress Reports, which allows you to compare your time and task accomplishments to the ideal to help keep you on track.
- Paper based and online based exams.
